Katie Holmes Lawyer Stopped Rumors About Her & Tom Cruises Finances

As many TomKat fans know, Tom Cruise has been sending around $400K a month in child support for his and Katie Holmes’s daughter Suri Cruise. The ruling was that he’d pay until she turned 18 years old, which will happen on April 18. About a month away from this, anonymous tipsters claimed that Holmes was about to be desperate for work since the child support would be ending. However, her lawyer is shutting this notion down.

While the tipster claimed that Holmes and Suri are allegedly terrified of giving up the lavish lifestyle Cruise’s payments have given them, her lawyer shut it all down, and chalked it up to an unfounded rumor. Her lawyer Jonathan W Wolfe, Esq, recently told RadarOnline in a statement that “The story is riddled with falsehoods.” He added, “One would hope there would be more newsworthy items to cover, and publications would avoid reporting as ‘facts’ claims from anonymous sources peddling such obvious misrepresentations.”

While this payment will be stopping soon, Holmes’s lawyer has proved that it’s quite the opposite: Holmes does not rely on Cruise’s finances.

For those who don’t know, Tom’s child support payments are reported to total just over $33,000 per month, totaling around $400,000 per year, and is required to pay Suri’s expenses, such as medical, education, college, and more.

Holmes welcomed Suri, 17 years old, on April 18, 2006, with Tom, who is seemingly estranged from them, despite his monthly financial payments. Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt Related story Tom Cruise's Reported Rivalry With Brad Pitt Is Revived Amid His British Grand Prix Absence
